The second workshop for the research by design project about accelerated sea level rise took place last week. Commissioned by and in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (BZK/Atelier X) and the Delta Programme, Defacto investigates the spatial relations between accelerated sea level rise and other transitions in the Netherlands, such as urban development, energy transition, ecology, mobility and agriculture. The study takes the recent report from Deltares and the four defined long term water-management perspectives as a starting point.
