On June 8 Anne Loes Nillesen will be one of the speakers during the Urban Thinkers Campus (UTC), which is held at the TU Delft from June 7 to June 9. In her lecture, Anne Loes will tell about integrated urban planning in Bangladesh.
The conference is themed ‘Education for the City We Need’ and will evolve around ways in which the UN-Habitat New Urban Agenda can be integrated in higher education curricula. The New Urban Agenda is the outcome of the UN Habitat III conference which took place in Quito, Equador, in October 2016. The document has been signed by all UN member states and is meant to guide a variety of urban actors to sustainable and just urbanization.
This UTC is an initiative from TU Delft in partnership with TU-Eindhoven and IHS-Erasmus Rotterdam.
