On April 21st and 22th of April, the annual 24H Design Challenge of the TU Eindhoven will take place. The challenge of this year is themed ‘NL under water’. In the competition, students have 24 hours to come up with new ideas for when the Netherlands happens to be flooded. Their solutions may vary from new forms of housing for those who have lost their dwelling during the flood to new alternatives for transport to new visions for a completely different landscape.
To kick off the event, Anne Loes will provide a lecture covering inspiring projects related to water.
The lecture will take place at 17:00 on April 21 at housing corporation Trudo, at Strijp-S in Eindhoven. The results of the competition will be on display during the Dutch Design Week in October 2017.
